Yea, I've done this and it's difficult getting the headlight apart at first. Helps if u have an assistant cut away the glue while u pry the 2 halves apart. Painting is pretty much straight forward, just use LIGHT coats to avoid runs in the small grooves of the plastic.
Resealing them with FORM-A-GASKET sealant from Auto Zone worked great for me..no condensation probs at all. Be sure u get the NON-HARDENING kind, it comes in a small tube for about $3.

Personally I would not attempt to do this unless you want to screw, and i mean screw up your lights. i took mine appart to get the orange plastic triangle out and they have never been the same.

I love the way it looks except for that black rubber strip around the edges. I was going to do mine, but I did my friends first, and I didn't like the strip. He did his silver on a spruce car though, I haven't seen that before.
But steetconcepts car is still phat as hell.
Hey streetconcepts thats looks awsome.....thanks for the close up pic. I will have to get that done.
Thanks

Holy S#%@ that looks awesome! Do you have a post up in the "How To" section? I've been wanting to do that but I'm not sure how.
