Well today was my court date for the speeding ticket i got @ 12:30am on thanksgiving (talk about a backed up system huh) from a state trooper in my town
i was the DD and had my drunkart buddy in the car and i got nabbed doing 55 in a 40 going downhill caus i was too busy paying attention to him than my speed
anyways, as you might remember my fiances aunt and uncle are top dogs in my town (her aunt is now the cheif of police) so i tend to get out of the little trouble i get in... well her uncle couldnt make this one disappear b/c he's local and the dude was a statey
so i show up for court today @ 5:30 and her uncle shows @ like 5:45... tells me he talked to the trooper and it would be dropped to parking on pavement IF he showed up... so he peaced out and i sat back down...
1.5 hours later i call her uncle and tell him im still there chillen that i hadnt seen the trooper... he tells me he saw him in the parking lot and that they shot the breeze for a few mins... so he said to sit tight and i sat back down...
1 hour later im still sitting there having listened to a traffic case with a russian guy that could barely speak english to the point the court was laughing (i felt so bad for the dude) so FINALLY she calls my name (the judge) and she tells me the "the prosecuter for your case hasnt shown up so you are dismissed"
im all :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin: and i call her uncle... and i tell him he never showed up... he goes "yea i wanted you to sweat it... i talked to him in the parking lot and told him to give you a break and not even go in if you were his only case" which i was!... so i said "now i owe you a favor"... to which he says (now keep in mind this is a big italian guy) "you can stop running around and you can feed my fish while we are down in myrtle beach" :rofl:
