alright, i keep getting asked by dozens of people where i got my intake.
as of right now its just a prototype waiting for public demand, so as far as i know i am the only one with the Zxtuner intake on my car.
if you want one, contact Rob over at Zxtuner.com.
he is an extremely nice guy to talk/work with. hes usually really good with responses to emails etc. He's the guy ive boughten dozens of parts from, intake, pulley, wires, hood etc etc. and ive been happy with every purchase.
heres a bunch of pics. please, excuse the dirty engine bay.

its the highst flowing shortram intake thats available for the cougar that i know of.
stock style carbon fiber hood. and its lower than the stock intake manifold.

no it wouldn't. and don't even think about making a comment on how you could set it up for ram air, bc I don't want to explain all that.

Looks like it fits under the hood MUCH metter than the CTA, and it looks a whole lot bettwe flowing than the Weapon R with that really tight/small 90* bend before the TB. Very nice product.

yeah, my roommate actually has the extension for his cougar, but never installed it, and itsn't going to, so I'm gonna see if I can get it to work on the tiburon, with maybe one more peice of piping.

ehh, i wouldnt so much go to lowes or hope depot, they'd have like plumbers piping. wouldnt they? lol
id think a metal supply place should definetly have a bunch of mandrel bent aluminum.

yeah, I didn't get a chance to go by there today. I wasn't really hoping too much, just kinda curious. cuz, if I could buy some piping for like, 15 bucks, I sure as hell would do that b4 buying an AEM for like 260

hahah hell yea. cheap intakes FTW lol
thats kinda what mine was... i fidgeted around with a bunch of different setups until i found the one i liked the most.
now.... if i can move my battery to the back.. then the cold air piping doesnt have to go around the battery and it can go straight to the hole, if you can imagine what i mean.

what's cool about the tibby, is that the intake piping for the CAI (after the MAF on the Cougar) actually follows the same path as the cougar, as far as bending past the battery, and into the same spot to drop into the bumper. But what is even cooler, is that there is already a hole there, so I don't have to do any drilling. I'll look for a pic later if u can't understand wtf I'm talkin about. haha

as long as it'll fit around the battery then go for it man.

oh, it will fit aruond the battery. pretty much the same process as for the coug, take the battery out, put intake in, put battery back in, but over to the left a bit more. haha

you forgot cut one of the "legs" off of the battery tray lol.
i realized that to keep my cold air intake AND turbo, im gonna need to relocate that battery to the back.

haha and then ill custom weld a flange to the exhaust manifold, then custom make another flange to bolt to the exhaust turbine, then cusotm make a downpipe, then custom make tabs to mount an intercooler, then take off my front bumper *takes a breathe* mount the intercooler and custom fit the intercooler piping back to the throttlebody, and then get it tuned, hook up the turbo etc, change out my injectors. and then ill be on my way.
