Hello just got my 2002 cougar S in Febuary. I also just found these boards today. Am looking for more cougar owners in the Chicago land area.

welcome!!
Welcome to the group! You might want to look at the Land of Lincoln NECO forum (down toward the bottom from the main forums page) and see who's in your area and what events they have planned.
...and, just to be my usual picky self, I believe you have a Cougar with Sport Package (judging by the hood scoop, as well as the wing and wheels that look very familiar :) ). The Cougar S is a totally different beast which was never actually produced. Actually, technically, there were two very different cars which were called the Cougar S, the earlier one having been a prototype (in 1999, I believe) and with the later one having been intended as a production model in 2001 but never actually released. (It very nearly made it to production, to the point where most parts databases list it and prototypes have been reported to have been spotted.)
...this has been your overly-pedantic Cougar history lesson for today. ;) I try not to do this often. Welcome anyway!

Oh and by the way ... you do not have a Cougar S ... unless you paid tommy hilfiger or one of the other guys that owns that rare prototype for like 200k.

Don't mind Doug, he's just bitter cuz he lives in that ****hole of a town that's called St. Louis. Oh and Dougie . . . what was the season series last year between the Cubs and the Cardinals again? Look that up and get me an Old Style while you're at it.
