just curious what's the difference in ratings?
My clutch has 30K on it and is in great shape but I want to beef up my power so I'm debating on getting an svt or a centerforce dual friction. I want something that shifts nice. I have a fidanza flywheel to install with which ever one I decide on.

That sucks, that's what I have in mine right now. I haven't had any problems, but I will be running it with my Venom kit at the track this summer. We'll see what happens I guess.

The 3L NA will have more low-end torque than a SCd 2.5L, but they will both have similar peak torque up top.
So I would say you would be fine with the SVT clutch. It is the torque generated on the take-off that usually is the worst for the clutch, then the next worst point is at the shift points.
Most SVT clutches will hold up fine to a 3L engine for a long time though there will be ones that fail early, even on a 2.5L NA.
Honestly unless you are a Turbo 2.5L (or 75+ shot of nitrous), or a boosted 3L of any kind, the SVT clutch will be fine.

Im going to be using a spec stage 1 clutch on my car. Its just a 3L right now. I just need my down pipe and exhaust mani made then I'll hopefully be in the 300-350whp range. I do have a spare spec stage 2 clutch but I really don't like them. Thats whats in my car right now and I really dont like it. I also think its glazing so good thing I have two replacements

It all depends on how you drive your car. I went my stage 3 on my probe in 1 summer. The car is 200whp NA. I was shocked that it was done when i was taking out my engine. IF you baby it get a SVT, if you love to go get a stage 1+
