shoot, I should've been specific on that... NO, the 01/02 airbag and steeringwheel is on the car, the cruise control kit is for a leather 99/00 wheel AND NO AIRBAG. should be nice for someone because if your car is missing cruise control, then that also means you have a plastic steering wheel. mmmm leather.

no problem, there are tons of information availible on CEG about them [specifically the install proceedure], they will fit stock 16" wheels, they will maintain the stock brake bias and pedal feel but with a heck of a lot more stopping power.

Yes it was. I have it on mine. As a matter of fact. The "Convenience Package" should have it.

welcome to the club of wierdly configured cougars [didn't think it was possible to get leather without the convience package]... mines an anomoly as well. Yes it will work identically on an MTX, I confirmed that everything should mount up on badasscougar's car [mtx, no cruise].

I'll get my writeup up sometime this week, it'll take a bit of time to order and comment the 35 photos.

I'm not sure the brand off the top of my head, its japanese. I'll try to get some photos of it tonight. All the parts are of very good quality.

side note: I am a lightbulb freak. I worked in a lightbulb warehouse for a number of years and have experimented with many different types of exotic lighting systems for coral reef aquariums. My personal stuff is not junk but I've come the the realisation that this is a pointless mod for me because I dont drive my car during the day let alone at night... it would just never get used.

Good choice sir! Thats the exact same setup I have on my car. It produces a nice performance gain and makes for a louder, deeper exhaust tone. :thumbsup:

I'll take "the brackets", but I need till next Monday to pay if that's cool. I just got the check from one of my accounts that I'd like to use to pay for this and I'll deposit it today which means it won't clear until tomorrow, then I have to wait a day to be able to transfer from the commercial account to my personal account....they make it really convenient for me that way:rolleyes: .
