Does anyone know if this is illegal in st. louis? my 99 cougars headlights are yellowed and worn and instead of buying new 00-01 headlights(which i cant seem to find!) I was just going to buy some smoked covers, but before i do, i wanted to know if anyone knew if this was illegal or not.

why not just use a plastic polishing compound to clean up yours, even if smoked covers were legal, they are completly idiotic like wearing sunglasses at night

I'm not 100% positive, but I'm not sure those covers are legal anywhere...I'm pretty sure they are for show.
I had a pair when I lived back in Nebraska on a different car and that was what I was told when I got pulled over...not sure if it is the same here in Missouri

i think autozone has something that might work, but I'm not terribly sure as i've never used it, but it should work just as any other type of polishing

I did not know they made covers for our cars. any ways with the head light you could spray a light light night shade on them
