Here's the deal, I have the ability to get Diamond Racing pistons for $78 each thanks to a friend of mine on the boards here. There is, however, one catch: I need a minimum of three orders to get that pricing. The pistons I need are going to be 12:1 high compression pistons which would be great for a N/A build. SpookSVT used 11.5:1 pistons and was making about 240 FWHP with SVT cams on his 3L, so these should be in that ballpark with a proper build.
Soooo . . . that comes out to $468 a set for pistons. Pretty good pricing yeah? I thought so too, but here's the deal, I need people who have cash in hand and are ready to purchase now, as I want to move on this within the next 24 hours if possible. If you're gonna pussyfoot around and try to stall for more time to get money, then don't bother. If I can't get enough interest then I'll move on on my own.
So, again, serious playas only need apply.

What is the bore size, and do they come with wrist pins and or rings?

Its gonna be for a 3L, I don't know the precise bore size off the top of my head. This will not include rings and wrist pins.

well the stock bore size IIRC is 3.500", if the pistons you are getting are oversized, you'll be boring and honing the block!

I'll take 2 pistons.

Nope, I'm staying with stock sizes. I fear longevity issues with an overbored 3L, though if I had unlimited funds I would be bout-it bout-it.
I'll reply to your PM in a bit when I get home from work, but I appreciate the offer to help. :)

I read that high compression is compatible with nitrous ... true ?

indeed is true. Most safe FI (w/o spending tons + high octane) with high compression

Nitrous is safe with anything as long as you get tuning . . . that being said, nitrous does work very well with high-compression N/A motors.

When did I do this? I never built that engine I described to you and it was expected near 300whp. I bought a new car anyway. Are you thinking of Timeless420? He made 236whp.

:flushed: Whoopsie. Sorry man, thats who I meant. Must have just had you on my mind since we had chatted so much about the engine.

Ryan, I should have all the details tommorow. But I'm thinking we will have to go through a couple sample pistons to get clearance issues right since they are such a high CR.
