Alright it's been a while since I promoted for Spin, but this is actually something I'm very excited for. Benny Benassi is one of my favorite DJ's and has been a pioneer in house music. For those of you who don't know, he did the "Satisfaction" song, which has a great video.... Here's the vid.... THESE ARE NSFW!!

The close-up shots of the girl's grill in "Satisfaction" reveal it to be rather jacked up.

Umm what are you talking about? Satisfaction?? Pretty sure they didn't use Benny and he's not a sell-out. He's one of the best DJs in the world--you can't really be a sell-out if you're up there with the best and a borderline legend.

Now, I don't know that I agree that allowing your music to be used in a commercial is being a sell-out, as quite simply that was the first (and prior to this thread, the ONLY) exposure I'd had to Benassi, so it's not like it drastically changed the DJ's career or watered down his music. I think if he were to start making music simply because it was intended for "commercial" success (pun intended), then he's selling out. As it is, I don't see that.
But it was in a Wendy's commercial. *shrugs*

I work Friday Saturday and Sunday nights at the club...I pulled an all-nighter in order to take a chem exam this morning. Ugh.

Anyway about BB, you all should really come see. He's flying in from Italy and we've been working on this for 8 months. Who knows when he'll actually tour. It's going to be awesome!

Thanks buddy! I joined this site a while ago, but I never posted anything. And, I don't remember joining, and I used a user name I wouldn't normally use.... So, uh, I'm assuming I was wasted and angry because my sunroof had just broken or something.
Anyways, I started browsing and posting a few days ago, and I'm loving it here so far. All my questions have been answered within a day, and at the minimum, it's always nice to know other people feel your pain. Haha.

And BTW...Benny Benassi freaking ROCKED the house...it's the best time I've ever had at work, hands down. I loved it. The entire place was packed, good vibe, excellent music, and I made a freakin' ton of money.
