Hey guys, has anyone heard of the nopi tuner car show coming to Chandler on march 17 and 18th?? I heard from a friend that it was,but he has been wrong many times before:rofl:

This would be the 3rd year for that, and the March timeframe is similar to past years. I would say he's probably right. Maybe we should have a meet around that?

Yes sounds about right. We were there last year both days, it rained and the show was terrible. Top it off, we had to sleep in our cars because the hotels were all booked for some other event in town.

You guys think I should put the Orange beast on show before taking off to the desert?
I wouldn't want to drive it there, does anyone have a trailer :)

When are you coming back with it, just outta curiosity? And yes, it certainly would be cool to put a couple nice Cougar's in the show (yours and Greg's, they're about the only ones left running around here). Greg, what do you think? Some "advertisement" for AZ NECO? Unless I pull a miracle, my Cougar won't be up by then, so it would be just you guys.

OK, I looked at the NOPI page, and the entry fee for the car show is $65 pre-reg, or $75 day-of. You get a spot in the car show area for both days (Saturday and Sunday), and two entry passes for the weekend to the show, drag races, and all the other stuff going on. Which splits down to $16.25 per person, per day, plus getting your car in the car show.
John, i will tell you right now, if you brought the orange car to the car show, you WILL leave with a trophy, and you may get on the NOPI TV show. I've seen ALOT less modded cars get featured on there, and the orange car would draw ALOT of attention.
If I can get my car done in time (sketchy but possible) I would love to get a little area for us with John's, Greg's, and my Cougar's there.

Too late, I'm going to a hockey game on the 17th... sorry :( Great seats though, lower level, 5th row up, center rink above the home and visiting team :cool:

YOU SUCK! I haven't been to a Coyote's game in about 8 years, it was a blast (I'm a closet hockey fan, go figure).
