Um, I'm taking Jeff's idea of Farmington Collision to see how their prices are... If under $300 it's a deal. LOL

I went to Farmington Hills and two other body shops for my stuff to get painted.....$600!!!!!!!
I'm going to Canada and getting this stuff painted most likely. Just as long as the border guards let me through.

Ok I've got problems..... I went to Farmingtion Collision they do not do custom stuff Only OEM, and will not touch my bumper along with 2 other places i stopped at. Listen to this i went to 1st class auto just for the hell of it.... they quoted me $400 to paint the front bumper and $200 for the side skirts, the side skirts are small! lol and 65hr for install, that's outrageous... I donno what i'm gonna do now. i/expressions/frown.gif

Personally, I'm waiting for Plasti-Kote or some other touch up paint company to come out with Silver Frost spray cans before I do any body work. i/expressions/smile.gif

I said screw it and went to Maaco to get my side skirts painted, and when i was talking tot he guy it said bodywork on the door... so i asked him about my bumper..... he said they could do it... for about $200 painted and installed i didn't ask abotut he grills i forgot, but that shouldn't chnage the price that much..... that's the price i'm looking for lol... i'm gonna bring him my bumper monday if i have the time....

Don't feel bad about that price. I got quoted at $850 today!!! Looks like I'm gonna have to do some painting and save myself some money.

Xrummer, could you ask maaco if the side skirts were TPO or urethane.... i just want to make 100% sure... also how much did you pay to get them painted, and if he's nice enough ask him what kind of primer he used - if the sides were TPO

Aiight, i'll ask...He said he was going to put this "Felx coat" on so that they will be able to flex and not crack...
$100 bucks painted....
I'm going to get my bumper spainted and put on 1st... LOL

He said Urethane, well $60 for both of them painted...... $100 both of them painted with "flex agnet" I guess it suppose to hold up better.... LOL
My bumper is there now, they start on my car monday morning at 8... So i won't see my car for a couple days i/expressions/frown.gif oh yeah $300 to paint and install my bumper.... Now thats a better price.. lol

save the 40$ and don't get the flex paint put on the sides... you don't need it... i never used flex paint and never had a problem, the sides never flex, the front does sometimes under heavy wind but i doubt it's enough to warrant the need of flex paint.... but it is nice to know that they are urethane... that means i could just prime and paint without a problem... wooo hooo
