ok... ive heard alot of bad about spec stage 2 clutches like shuttering, the kevlar becomes soft etc etc.... but i havent heard anything about centerforce clutches.

my clutch is slowly getting old and im in need of new clutch kit, where could i buy one?

thanks,
- Grant

For the money, get the SVT clutch from Bill J. It holds a 3L with no problems.

If you have your heart set on aftermarket, the Centerforce doesn't suffer as badly from chatter (like the SPECs), and grips quite well. However, it has stock friction material on the PP side, which some say wears quickly since there's harder puck material on the flywheel side.

Why don't you just get a SPEC Stage 1?

well, i have I/H/E/P and within the next year or so, me and josh (stealthyweasel) are gonna turbo my 2L. so i want something that can handle it.

I'm pretty sure SPEC Stage 1 will be able to handle it.

alright, ill go with that one. its made out of dif material than the stage 2 correct? i mean, all i heard was something about the stage two getting coated? and slipping all the time?

Stage 2's are kevlar, so they tend to glaze.

Go over to CEG and send a PM to SVTCuervo, he has good prices on SPEC clutches.

Here's the Unotthodox Racing page for their clutches:

I'd recommend either the Street or Sport mod version.

The lightweight flywheel....I'm not sure if it fits, but it should. Its a new one thats supposed to fit any year Miata, which I believe had a Zetec in them. Plus its only 7lbs!

grant-

Ultrarev on ebay sells fidanza flywheels for 285, thats where I got mine.

Also, get their phone number. (look up ultrarev on ebay). They sell "packages" and I was very tempted to do this myself when we built my car, spec stage 1 and fidanza for 585.

for your seats id check out ebay. get universal racing seats. any color of your flavor. doesnt matter what car their for. mine are from a acura or some shiz, but use your seat tracks, and a plate of steel and drill holes and your done. 300 bucks shipped though. check my domain page out!

thanks for the suggestion but ive heard too many horror stories about ebay raing seats. uncomfortable etc, so i still wanna go for Netami red/black racing seats.
