hey i raced a viper and i won BUT it was only for about .002 of a second which was when he pushed his gas pedal and blew my doors off hehehehe,

oh by the way i didn't go racing him to win (i wanted to see how much power they really had)

Reminds me of my run in with a red Viper GTS here in town.

I just wanted to make sure there really was a V-10 in that bad boy and that the driver knew how to handle it lord almighty did he hand me my ass in a handbasket! i/expressions/laugh.gif Had the same think happen with a Lamborghini, was keeping up with him till he decided to REALLY race me.....

Nothing worse than someone who drives a Viper, Corvette, or other high-end muscle car and cant use it properly.......

for the record i raced a NSX and won, until his light turned green and turned my direction and smoked me. Its ok, i watched a supra smoke him a little while later. everyone in so. cali. is so aggressive i/expressions/smile.gif

I was messing around with some Accura type S. I don't remember the exact name of it. Anyway, this was not funny! This old man took off and was like 6 car lengths by the time I hit 45!

You joke, but I beat a Ferarri a few weeks ago. He was in front of me at a red light and I took a good look at the rear end of his car because it looked a little skinny. And sure enough, you could see the tell tale signs of a small rear pumpkin and exaust. This was a Feiro with the Ferarri body kit, you know the modern day "kit car".

Two lights later we were side by side, and I revved on him. He was about 50 or so and he looked my way but gave no indication of racing. Light turned green and I heard him stomp it, sounds really funny if you ever get the chance to hear it. Your brain is saying that it should be loud, after all it's a Ferrari, but you hear the distinct sound of a 4cyl. haha

Anyway, I walked him. And while I really raced a Feiro, it was fun to see that little horse fade away in my rear view.

I hesitated to post this when it happend because you know what happens to my race threads. Some Ferarri owner will eventually come here and start telling me how much of a liar I am and what not.

Fett...if it makes you feel any better, I know what your talking about. But there is one thing that really gets me- when stripping down a fiero to make it look faster, why not just drop in a 350 while your at it? i/expressions/smile.gif

take a slow ass fiero and plop an additional 500-700 lbs? oh yeah, for them weight must make them faster!!!

and you mean probably a TL type S, its the only acura with a "S" nomenclature.

That is what I don't understand, they spend a lot of cash on the kit, why not go all the way?

There are a few of those Ferarri/Feiro's around that I have seen. It got to the point where I would peek under the car to see if it was real or not.

Actually, there is an Acura CL Type S. It came out a year before the TL Type S.
