Ice and curb=bad for rim and lower control arm. Ate a curb last weekend and passenger side wheel is aiming in whatever direction it wants :( Anyone know of a good place to get a lower control arm. Hoping my aunt can give me a good price on one (she runs a local ford dealership) but used one would still probably be cheaper. I'll scrounge up some pics of it later.

:( Sorry to hear that...
Don't know where you can find a lower control arm, it's probably best to just go through the dealer. You can also try Team Ford (http://www.teamford.com)(bill jenkins) as he usually has good NECO hook-ups. :)

www.car-part.com

Found them on there depending where you are, looks to be about $75 or there abouts.

Heh its been sitting here at my apt for about 2 weeks today. I got looking at it today and decided I missed driving it so finally started to get things rolling to fix it so I can't get a price from dealer til Monday hopefully that won't be to bad already priced the rim *ouch*. As for junkyards around here the only one is waaay to expensive. I got a part (think it was rear control arm) and it was 15 bucks cheaper new than from them....

threw in some pics. had it on the lift today seems only the lower control arm is bent..might get lucky here just one of them and a rim and worry about getting the scratch on the bumper fixed later..

ouch reminds me of when i bent my rim and control arm ....which was bad since i broke a factory 15".......how much is it going to run u?.....i think i spent 600 in total for the arm, rim and repair....which sucked but i dropped it off at the nearest dealer since i was to afraid to drive it...and i was in college at the time....

Yeah I can't drive that to my friend shop had to put it on a trailer (nooooot fun with the steering issues it was having and it was not a full body trailer) but my buddy won't charge much to throw it up on the left to do it (only charged $50 for my alt.) ummm not sure of the control arm price but I will get it with a good discount looking rim up now I saw a price of $145 seeing what else I can fish up..if all else fails I can drive with that rim on there or I still have the factory 16's somewhere
