... I've still got that GMK CAI with blue connectors I got from Clay (darkhorse... after he waterlocked the engine). I never got it installed, and it's got all the parts. I'll get pics once I find my digi cam... it sucks trying to find my stuff just coming back from a deployment! I'll let you AZ guys have the first crack at it. Send me some offers!

Hmm, interesting.....
I know, Greg, I know....depends on what his price is I guess. Now that the battery is going in the back, I don't have to worry so much about space. Plus now that Royce has his CAI, I think I'm the only AZ NECO'er left with just a short-ram...:ugh:
Josh, any kind of a "ballpark" price range?

Ah, he didn't post anything in here about that.
Traded it in for an 05 Escape, IIRC. Sad to see the Cougar go, but glad to see you stay in the Ford family Josh!

Hey Bryce, I know. I hate you too. Now come'ere and give me a hug!
... Kidding... :P
Yep, Resa and I traded in the coug for a 05 Ford Escape. We needed the room with her dog and having a roommate too. I REALLY like it. Yes, it's not the coug, but we will be getting her dad's 01 V6 Mustang convertible in a few months, so we'll have a car again.
Bobby, I've got 3 days off this weekend so I'll get on the pics soon.

I would if I had gone on the Yuma det that left this morning heh.
But for now, I'll stay here and enjoy my new toy.

Why the hell didn't you go? There's enough other people here... lots of F-18s and a few Prowlers. I figured you'd been around the squadron long enough to have the experience to go to WTI! Damn... that sucks!
XplosivePlushToy
02-02-2007, 03:58 PM
I wouldnt be there for WTI. We're just doing our quarterly training deployment there. I didnt want to go this time, and I went on the last det to El Centro, so it was someone else's turn.

Ah, gotcha. The weather here right now is awesome, but the sheer amount of snowbirds clogging up the streets is beyond aggrevating!
I've been busy running arrands today. I've got the cam and the parts, I'll just have to get the pics tomorrow. I found I still have the 3" cut-out drill bit for it too, so I'll throw that in too.

Yes, there are some scratches, I made sure I got those pics. I sorted through everything, I'm missing one of the longer bolts I bought from Home Depot (like 45 cents), one of the washers (like 15 cents), and two of the silver nuts (which should actually be part of the MAF sensor). The scratches aren't bad and should be easy to buff out. There's also a 3 1/2" bi-metal saw bit I don't need that I'm adding to the deal as well as metal-tapping screws. I can add in the print out from GMK on how to install it, though it IS kinda old and wrinkly.
I'm asking $100, plus shipping. Offers?

Did you try posting this in the For Sale section?

Nope, not yet. I figured I'd give you AZ guys the first chance at it, after all a CAI would REALLY help in this summer heat! If no one wants it, I'll put it up in the FS section.

So... how about $100, shipping included? Shipping should be about $40, that's what it was when I got it from Clay.

Aeglos
02-24-2007, 02:03 PM
Hehe, that's cool. Yeah, I was excited when I got it too, I cut the hell out of my hand the one time I tried installing it, I took out the left foglight (that was broken) and slashed my hand. I had to put it back together and find a way to stop bleeding... Anyways, that kinda burned me out to finishing it.
Good luck dude!
