Looking to procure Alternator!!!

I'm really beginning to hate this car now!!! Got the flickering battery light as I was coming home....battery checks out ok......leaves the alternator as suspect. Is the voltage regulator built into the alternator? In the interest of frustration, does anyone have a working alternator (99 Cougar V6) for sale? or know of a good salvage yard to call??????

yea i had to replace my alt about 6 months after i got that car.... *fingers crossed* nothing has happened since then.... besides an accident... a tree falling on my car.....yea....lol
