I came back home from Syracuse yesterday to a message on my answering machine saying that Soverign Banks fraud dept caught some suspicious activity. I called them back and was told that while I was in Syracuse 486.50 was spent in Italy, 186 was spent on google, and several dollar donations to christian orginizations in the UK were made all while I was spending money in New York. So my account is now DRY! The bank is trying to recover the money now.
Whats weird though is that when I shop online, I ALWAYS use paypal. The only time I didnt was just recently when I paid for the Tunerwar show. I know for several days I tried registering but error messages came up everytime I'd try to submit them.
To top it off I got this email this afternoon...

My paypal is linked to a different email addy. Podkirby@yahoo.com was the address I listed on Tunerwars website when I registered. I got everything stopped at the bank and am working on switching everything to a new bank. Its just one of those frustrating things, mainly because this was a visa check card linked right to my bank account, NOT a credit cards credit line. I cant believe the ****er had the nuts to make a dollar donation to a world christian organization too.... He could of atleast bought a hooker and some beer for his buddies or something.
