Does the bar have to sit in that exact location or can it be slightly higher? My system fills the trunk but one o these may fit in just above it.
What are the dimensions of the connection plate and how thick (tall) is the bar?

Bump for a good guy and good product. These are not hard to install (it takes sometime, but its not "hard"), they look great in place and they really stiffen up the car. Here are two of those pictured above installed:

No one has answered the question about the install. Hows the install! Looks very simple. Is there any drilling involved?

Yes drilling because how else would it stiffen the rear end. I could help you install this mod for sure.

Installation requires the location and drilling of four holes. All of the bars shown so far have shown installation with the carpet under the bars. That means locating four holes in the carpet after the other four have been drilled.
It is a little tricky to get the nuts on the bolts, but the entire process should only take about an hour.

Great! I will look into this - cause I have my capacitor on top of my subs and think it might get in the way of the install - I dont feel like moving my capacitor - lol

If you give me height measurements I can let you know how well it will fit into place with your audio stuff, or I can try to make an adjustment in design for yours to fit properly.

Jaged, I'll PM you here in a couple weeks about a bar. Right now I'm just finishing up all the odds and ends before the tranny swap, but I'll be back out on the Solo track next month and I'd like to get a bar to put in before then.

Just for the record. I have and always will have the ORIGINAL pink **** bar. Any others are mear imposters following in my wake.
Now the strut bar its self is an amazing thing. Tightens up the rear suspension very nicely. The welding is amazing and the thing is sound. Totally worth every dime. Install is pretty easy. It'll take a couple people to do it but its not hard. Drilling is involved.

Yea I would like to know if this group buy is still going on too, because Jrak hasn't answered any of my PMs and I already paid for the bar.
Jrak seems to be posting in other threads besides this one so why can't he just respond to us??? A simple yes or no explanation would be helpful.

I have a ton of empathy for everyone involved in this, but as one of the handful of people to actually talk to Jason in the last couple of weeks I know he's working 10-12 hour days at work and is currently busy trying to wrap up a side project that has been a LONG time coming.

Correct I noticed that, but I sent him a PM on March 18th and then again on April 19th and got no answer, yet he replied to posts in other threads between those times. Thats why I was just wondering why he didn't respond.
Jrak was of great help before I paid the money and answered all my PM's, but once I paid I didn't hear from him at all. So you can sort of understand why I would like some kind of response.

I can understand that he is busy with 10-12 hour days, I am also currently busy with the same hours due to school and work. I'm willing to give empathy to a hard worker and Jrak seems like he is well respected on this forum so if he could give some insight that would be great. I can still wait on the bar to get finished, but I would just like an update if possible.

well he's been inundated with PMs with people assuming he lives with Jason or like he's jasons personal valet or something. you'd probably say the same thing if you were being contacted by as many people as he is.

Jrak is currently ignoring the board and any attempts at contacting him outside of showing up at his house or calling him.
We have some local mods who are trying to get his GB's and other parts issues with other members resolved.
Until we have a final answer I'm going to lock his threads.
