Well I have a major stock pile of parts for the stang and the only thing
I was waiting for....
http://www.domesticcompact.com/cars/welder.jpg
I finally bought. 130amp Clarke MIG welder with or without gas.
But I'm not going to do much welding with Fluxcore mostly gas.
I haven't welded in forever so I got the video with it and I have a ton of
metal to pratice on. One thing I've been wanting to do is finally make
my own RSTB so that's going to be one of my first actual projects.

Plus we just finished running all the electric to the barn
(we're redoing all of the electrical in the barn to be set up for the
compressor and MIG). Hopefully building a larger barn connected
to my little barn this summer with a concrete floor.

an RSB for your cougar? just a hint, they are simple 45* angels I would give you the length but I can't remember off hand, it's either 31" or 37" if you are using 1/8" metal mounting plates.

It's my first project because it is simple. Thanks for the lengths.

Yeah go to Greg he probably has better welding equip anyways.
My welds are still looking like snot. Except one I did last night came
out kinda nice. Greg how much wire should stick out from the gun usually?
Right now I have no tank for Argon so I'm just using fluxcore. It's ugly
but it works.

Nope just practicing.
My buddy's Dad let me borrow one of his Argon tanks so
I'm going to do the MIG conversion tomorrow/today and start
practicing that now.
