WANTED 2001-02 Cougar

Hi, I just totaled my cougar on the Northern State the other night. I want another! Must be a 2001-02 Silver 5spd loaded with moonroof. Should be stock or very few mods, good condition. Long Island NY

Hi, hope you're ok! Sad to hear about the Cougar, though. There are both red and black MTXs for sale in New York, but if you're looking for an '01 or '02 silver, I'll definitely keep a heads up for you. Good luck with everything.

Hey PonyGirl, Im OK, Wiped out Eastbound around exit 30, Lake Success. I got cut off in the left lane and lost it trying to avoid a collision. EVERYONE!!--Be carefull with the cougar's , they handle great but like any front wheel drive car, they are light in the rear and can spin out. The damage wan't too bad, the air bags went off and must be replaced new and are mega bucks. I like your pony with the santa hat, my wife has 3 ponies just like that one in our back yard!!

Wow, that's some nasty damage. I drive from Bayside to Hauppauge, and back, everyday for work. It can get bad. My hubby actually ate the back of a Blazer going around that curve eastbound by Marcus Avenue.

You have ponies! Where do you live? Does your wife ride? I've been riding for 16 years now, but I go way out to Medford every week.

that's why if you start to spin out you don't brake, or let off the gas.. you accelerate, that will pull the rear straight again.

Still Looking for another cougar!! I got a 1992 Eclipse for the winter. Allstate just gave me a nice check for the car. KEEP LOOKING!!!
