Complete SVT Engine!

Hey guys. I am new to the NECO Forums, but I have been on CEG (Contour Forums) for quite some time. I own a SVT Contour, but I just purchased another 2.5L SVT parts car. I knew the previous owner, and the car has 77,000 original miles! It was hit in the rear about 2 weeks ago and totalled. Damage wasn't too bad, but my buddy didn't have collision and couldn't afford to get it repaired. The car was/is 100% completely stock, and he never raced it. It has been very well maintained. Anyways, I am pulling the engine sometime around Christmas. I live in Southeast, MI (Farmington Hills). Even though the car was hit in the rear, it still drives perfect, and so the engine can be test driven before I pull it. Let me know ASAP if your interested in test driving the engine... because the rest of the car is being parted out as we speak! We also could work out some kind of a deal to install it directly into your Cougar!

I don't plan on parting out the engine, because I'd hate to tear apart a low mileage SVT engine that runs perfect. Obviously, I am including the SVT intake manifolds (lower and upper) with this sale! I will include the stock SVT clutch and 19lb flywheel for free, with the same mileage. I also have a MTX 75 from the same SVT for sale, but the 3rd gear syncro is starting to go. Let me know if there are any other SVT parts that you might need/want. I don't know how often I'll be checking the NECO Forums, so your best bet is to give me a call, or shoot me an email.

As for price, I haven't thought too much about it yet, but if your interested, make an offer and we'll go from there.

Okay, sorry about that. I am used to CEG where I don't need to post a price! :tongue:

Anyways, I guess I will sell it for about $1,000 OBO. Installation into your Cougar will be about $300, if you can let me do it over Christmas break. You'll only be without your car for a day or so.

I can work with you, although I figured just the UIM, LIM and throttle body are good for $400.00, then add in the SVT cams, SVT heads, block, SVT 19lb flywheel and SVT clutch (if wanted), all in awesome condition with no problems and low mileage!

I forgot to post a price for the tranmission. The MTX 75 has a 3rd gear syncro that is starting to go, but the rest of the gears are perfect. The differential has no problems either! Only 77,000 miles on it.

Perfect for someone who blew their diff and only needs a good stock diff, or for someone who wants to get a built trans without any downtime without their trans!!!

I will sell for $200 or best offer! And yes, the engine is still up for sale. Thank you to all who have shown interest, but the I would prefer not to ship the engine!
