How much would it cost on average to do an MTX swap on a ATX Cougar? Have any of you guys done it?

This thread has a Word file that lists the costs and parts you would need:

The easiest thing to do is have a donor car. That way you can swap pretty much anything you neeed off of it. Plus you can get the engine harness and computer too. That is the cheapest way too.

Find a MTX cougar that has been wrecked horribly. You should be able to score that for $500 or so. Then just swap all the MTX parts over.
Vix - shut up.

You can do it for well under that price. Just gotta piece it together over time and wait for good deals. Did my part buying for well under 1k? Labor would have been free. Still have some left over parts if you want to buy them.
lol... why should i shut up? i was just being honest here....
anyways as i have been told here before, it wouldnt run the same as a stock MTX and you would still have problems with it later on.

It would bemuch easier and probably less costly to sell your ATX Cougar, and buy a MTX Cougar..

But the cougar is my daily driver man, i can't just let it sit in the garage for 3 weeks looking for spare parts :(
6.5k? idk about your state, but here for 'EXCELLENT' condition is like 6.2k on the bluebook.... - .- maybe ur price is too high.
