I really appreciate all the help. My car sounds soooo nasty now! I couldn't be happier....................... for now.
Actually I did have a question. On the drive back up I only got 24mpg according to my computer. I used to get 27-29 any ideas why this is?

Nah. If anything those things would have increased gas mileage. Maybe you just need to go out and disconnect your battery for a couple hours to let the computer completely reset itself. Then drive around and let it relearn all it's idle values, and things like that. Then do a real mileage test using the miles you travel vs. the gallons it takes to fill up your car. You can never trust the computer when it tells you the mileage. I have had it say 28 when my acutal was 25 and i have had it say 23 when my acutal was 26

well Saturday night I did reset the computer by disconnecting the battery. I know I got less mileage on the way up because I made it down there in one tank and drove to Adams on the same tank. On the way back up I couldn't even make it back on one tank, we had to stop and get gas 40 miles from Atlanta.
