1st...H3LL NO
2nd Lay of the kimchi and get back to the states before you make any decision like that
3rd....IF I can't talk you out of it...DIBS
(sorry...couldn't resist)
you can't sell her..we won't allow it. I saw over on TN where Crispy put her baby up for sale...you'll be close enough for me to lay a smackdown on if you even try that crap

More like high on KimChi :-) Sell the coug just to start all over again with another car....and yes you WILL start on another car. It gets in your blood and you can't help yourself...not a good plan.
Keep what you got and start back with the "plan" once the baby is here. It'll work out in the end.

what she keeps on bringing up is not fitting a car seat in the rear bucket seats..

you could always strap it to the roof....:cover:

Puck built a seat JUST for the baby. You can fit a baby seat in the Coug backseat.
Getting it in the door might suck a bit...but it's doable.
Jacob...why the roof...there's always all the room in the hatch. Even has to nifty tie down areas for the duct tape to stick to:biggrin:

Remove your backseats and turn it into "babyland". You could definitely build something to accommodate for a babyseat no problem.

I use a child seat in my cougar all the time and it works fine. It best to put it on the passenger side where the seat slides forward all the way and makes plenty of room to get in out. Our kid is almost three though so is able to climb in and out by himself.
The problem is that most babies require a rear facing seat for a while and the are harder to fit but its that way in most cars except minivans and SUVs where there is a ton of room. Hell getting a baby in and out of any car is really a 4 minute job anyway. Its easier for me to get him in and out of the cougar than it is to get him in and out of the 4 door Contour since there is more room between the seats.
My question is does your wife have a car? That should be the main kiddy car IMO since she will be spending most of the time traveling with the baby and stuff like that. Unless you plan on taking time off work and staying home doing the kid stuff while she is working.
If you can I would suggest picking up a "family" car. There are plenty of cars around for around 3-4k that would do good for you and you wouldn't have to worry about spills and stains which WILL occur really fast.

we bought her a newer kia suv before i deployed when i got the insurance check for my coug. i was just thinking of getting a car for better gas mileage....hopefully i can sell the truck, i am looking at 3 different cars......focus, CSVT, or a mazda 6/3...
i would hate to part it out espically i just spent so much fixing her back up after the accident, plus i probally wouldn't get near enough for it...

I was tossing around the idea of selling mine as well with Wade but I'm gonna keep it. It was the first new car I ever bought. I was looking at a 92 fox body with 68000 on it but if I buy it then the cougar will have to go....Damn house:tongue:
