most of them will actually not screw on...sorry to say. However, most of them will fit, but you have to take off the revervse lockout, but it is easy. Most shift knobs you buy will then just have a three set screws than hold it onto the shifter (and possibly a plastic cap to put over your threads to make sure it is snug). If you do find one that is threaded, if it has the same thread size, you could just screw it on (after removing lockout). However, the only one I am sure of is the billet shifter with the cougar head on it (there are probably more), but this one also makes it so you can still use the reverse lockout.

The B&M shift knob will screw on to the stock shifter. So will the Fidanza and other similar billet ones on eBay that were designed for our cars.

^^^yea that's what i was talking about. i've tried those shift knobs with the allen screws and i hated it. it never stayed tight and went to take out the stock shifter and put in my short throw i found out that the screws f*cked the bottom threads. thanks guys. also could i have threads put into shift knob from like momo or something. thanks
