So I just posted in the BS thread about this and I really didnt give any info... didnt think anyone would ask!

We are about 11 weeks along so far.. It was Planned!!!

Got our first ultrasound the other day and showed ... well everyone LOL. Both our parents are happy. I was worried my dad would pass out from being called Grandpa.

For some reason, I have named it Cletus the Fetus for the time being. We wont know if its a boy or a girl until its born.

I got my first taste of baby-ness when Angie took me to Babies R Us. I told her that I need smaller doses of "baby" related things. Babies R Us was pure overload!! They do have some cool stuff in there though.

Due date is around May 16th 2007!!!

Gonna have a full house, Angie, Baby, 2 Beagles and me!

That is ****ing hilarious.

Well, congrats man! Having a kid is a big step so at least it was planned and you two were ready for it.

As for the whole boy or girl thing, do you just not want to know until it is born? If I ever have kids, I am almost positive that's how I am going to want it...not knowing until it is here.

That is so awesome guys!!! New Year's Eve last year, Jeff toasted "2006 - the year of the baby". With everyone we know having kids or pregnant - this year really is.

Tell Angie to get stuff done early and allow lot more time. It is amazing how much longer things take either because you're too tired in the beginning or too fat near the end. She's almost done with what i thought was the hardest trimester.

We skipped the lamaze classes, whether or not that was a good idea we'll soon learn. But we just got done taking a number of baby classes - and those were all great - a bit of reassurance and to lessen the anxiety of what to do with a baby. Bathing, feeding, comforting, infant CPR, car seat installing (trickier than it looks!), etc.

Be very very nice to her too :) You never know when or why she'll cry or want to pound your face in, she won't know why she wants too either :banghead:

Have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!
Becky

Advice:
I've been getting little (& big) things done around the house because I know I won't be having the time or wanting to spend the time doing it later.
Take the new parent type classes (usually offered thru your local hospitals)
I'm sure I'll have more advice for you over the next couple months.
