Alright so it's been killing me not telling anyone up my way about my project except for a select few, so I just have to let the cat outta' the bag. So here's some pics of what I've been collecting. Enjoy.

I got this stuff now so I could start designing and get some ideas of what my dad and I will be up against.
Parts include:
-Garrett T3/T04E 60 Trim, .82 A/R Turbine
-Tial 38mm Wastegate
-all turbo & WG flanges & gaskets
-Turbosmart e-boost 2 EBC
Any questions about the rest of the setup, feel free to ask.

Until I get the battery moved, I'm getting worried as to whether it's going to fit. It's 10 pounds of **** in a 5 pound bag as is. Time to get creative.

SVTurbo kinda gave it away. ;)
That and there's not much you can realistically do to these things. :)
Keep us posted though. Show pics!

I'll be sure to take pics of the buildup. I'm looking for a motor right now. I can't find a good deal like my last one (22k miles for 400). We can start on the crossover tube then, or at least half of it, with it.
We can also get the intercooler fabbed up along with the heat exchanger & water resevoir. Until next summer, that's about all that I'll be spending on parts. After that it comes off the road if finances go like they did this year.
There is an EVO (Stock) and a Supra TT (BPU, rumored at 400rwhp) here at school that I'd like to run with, that's the goal. That and to have some fun learning to fabricate while building the car.

We got my Batt. box finished up today and I powdercoated it. It turned out really nice. I made a nice polished aluminum tie-down to go with it. It still needs fasteners for the tie-down though. I'll post pics of it this week and hopefully we'll have it in the car this week as well.
Also, since we have had nothing else to do on the car, I cut the piece of core out of my old busted SVT radiator that will be the heat exchanger for the I/C. We'll have the endtanks fabbed up hopefully this weekend and I'll have pics of that too. It's setup as a two pass core, a similar unit for the cobra's runs $400, where as this is free. Can't beat that. It's also going to be painted flatblack to not draw any attention. I'm going for a total sleeper here. Aside from the gauges, everything else will be stock appearing, until you lift the hood. :)
As soon as the batt. is out of the way I'm going to work on positioning of the turbo. If I still had the old exhaust manifolds that we threw away ( :banghead: ) we could start the first part of the crossover tube to the front bank. I may get the intercooler core after x-mas and by the summer I'm going to try and fabricate the water endtanks for that after I take my welding class at school.
Then after the first week of school:
"Joe, where's your car?"
"Tossed a rod, rebuilding." (with a built turbo 3L)

I just got the aluminum plate sheared for the heat exchanger endtanks. I'm still trying to figure out what size battery cable I need for that. The turbocharger pipes arn't going to be started until next school year because of money and I need the car for summer to get to work so I can finish this thing.
I'll have pics as I get stuff done, it's going to be slow until next year when I have the car off the road to get the main stuff done. I've also decided that I'll be getting forged pistons as well. I'm going to keep this block and just get new heads and keep the oval ports unless I can't get this other manifold to work. I'm being patient and taking my time, I want to do it right the first time.
I keep watching BurritaSVT's vids and just visualize my car like that!
Oh yeah Stealthy, getting sprayed are we!

My uncle is taking part ownership of a chassis shop the beginning of January hopefully. We'll have access to a mandrel bender then and a discount on material. I talked with my dad and we've come to the conclusion that we're going to start fabricating our own headers if this should go through.
This is probably a better idea seeing as the MSDS headers are only mild steel and 304 SS would be much better for the heat and have longevity. This way my car can stay on the road and we would only pull it off for a little while (week or two) to tidy things up. I am getting the I/C after X-mas so we'll have plenty to do in the mean time should this go through.
