It would seem as though I do! I was driving to work today, all excited about getting my exhaust done tomorrow when, BAM! Some A$$hole in a dump truck nailed me from behind on the highway! Want to know the best part? He didn't even stop, he just kept on driving! I got his plates and called the cops, and they found the guy, he's totally f&*ked! Anyways, I took some pictures, check them out,

I asked Dom to call you, cuz I lost your number, did he get in touch with you? I guess you realize that I can't make the appointment tomorrow? I still want the springs though, i'll put them on when I get the car back, and i'll let you know, AGAIN, when I can go for the exhaust (these guys must hate me!) Anyways, i'll keep everyone posted,
I called JPG and explained the situation and I told them i'll call them back when I get my car back, whenever that may be!

You guys wanna hear something funny?!? The guy who owns the truck that hit me just called me and asked me if I had any damage to my car, DUH! I was hit by a damn dump truck! i/expressions/eyes.gif He said his driver didn't even realize he hit anything, and that his truck has no visible damage, not even a scratch on the bumper! This guy must be full of S&*T!!

Holy poop, Mike. That sucks major ass. You didn't get the key marks repaired already, did you?
If it's a BIG dump truck, I can totally see it getting away with no damage, just because of physics. I've hit a suburban with a volvo station wagon, and the fender of the volvo basically peeled off the car. The suburban had a couple of white streaks on it's bumper that you could rub off. That's was it.

Again, sorry to hear about the collision. Maybe you can get the springs installed while the car is in the shop? Wonder if they will have to remove the rear suspension, since it looks like the left rear quarter got pinched? Just a thought.

I already had the scratches repaired, the guys at the shop remembered my car when I brought it in today. It's not so much that he had no damage, thats not what suprised me, its that he didn't even realize he hit me, thats what pissed me off!

thats a good idea, when you get the springs let me know and i'll see if they can put them on for me there, it looks like some work might have to be done on the driver's side, i'll see what they say.

ouch! my condolences brother...that really sucks...hopefully its all cosmetic damage, but from the looks of it, it might be more than that. And speaking of keyed cars, i was on campus yesterday, and saw a silver cougar parked at meter parking that had been keyed all along the passenger side rear quarter panel. WTF is goin on? Are people like targeting our cars for some strange reason? This is F$$@#ed up....
anyways mike, hope you get it back soon and that it's as good as new...

Yup, it REALLY sucks! I just talked to the cop and they nailed the guy! I finally got all the insurance information, and now I have to wait until my cars all fixed. I already miss it, and it's only been a day, they stuck me in a P.O.S. Toyota Corolla! Anyways, as long as I didn't get hurt thats all that matters, right? Even though I did hurt my neck, but i'll live, oh well!

Ack!!! That sucks u got hit like that.. I would sue him and put a whole kit on ur car..LOL Its not ur fault he "didnt See u" He should have to pay and hook it up for u. Maybe bext time he will watch out for tha *Cougars* i/expressions/smile.gif Now I know what mine will look like though if I get hit like that.. And in TN, I wouldnt doubt it.. I almost got hit by a D*mn bug on my way home today.....

Doesn't matter if it was a huge dump truck, even if he didn't FEEL anything, the guy must have seen the front of his truck right on TOP of your rear end! The guy must be a total moron.
Lucky you didn't get hurt.
A guy I work with had a run in with a truck a couple months ago - the guy hit him from behind just like you, and actually pushed him a couple of km along the 401, with the rush hour traffic and just being freaked out by what was happening, my co-worker couldn't even accelerate to get away from the truck's front end and change lanes. Eventually the trucker slowed down and took an off-ramp. The cops never found the guy.
Anyway, sorry again to hear about your bad luck - they say bad things come in threes, so be careful out there.
