Hi guys/gals. I just got a new job and I will be relocating to West Lafeyette in app. 4-6 months. I noticed two other threads of people relocating as well, kinda strange... That just means there will need to be a meet to introduce all the newbies eh?
I really need some suggestions on some nice places to live (apartments/condos) around West Lafeyette. At the moment I'll be living moving/living alone. I don't know the area at all, but heard it's a pretty good place from the people I've talked to.
Oh yea. Go bucks! :cover:

I've been down there a few times, more specifically, Purdue University. It's in West Lafeyette. If a meet is in the works, I'm down for it, I'm not that far away.
Congrats on the new job. I'm hoping to move out soon also.

cool, where did you get a job? im only an hour away from there. we do have a member in lafayette, madgeo, but i havent talked to him in a while.
Renting or buying? Lafayette or west lafayette doesnt really make a difference, its really all one big town anyway. stuff on campus can be a good deal b/c its all inclusive but its on campus. When i was living there i rented a 2 bed, full basement, detached garage for $575 plus utilities. Ive got a buddy down there now that i can prolly get some websites for some places if you want
I was thinking of having a BBQ in Jan as a cabin fever type of thing

I'll be working for FEI Co. They're worldwide and a pretty good company. I consider myself extremely lucky.
Jaged: I'm looking to rent for the first 6months/year an apartment more likely. Then possibly buy a condo/house depending. I'd LOVE a attached/detached garage. I'd be down for any type of meet as well.
Frost: Move out to where?

Hi! I was just really wondering if there were any recommendations on particular parts in town to live, or places to live in.
Hey Frost. Free rent right? Can't beat that.
Thanks.
