Ok .. I have a nice pioneer radio ....

1 rockford fosgate 800RMS Amp...

2 x 12" MTX 400RMS each sub ...

1 Farad Stinger Capacitor

First
I can hear my sub pop when I change track or open/close radio.. or even if I enable/disable the rear windshield defrost ...

Also
My lights are dimming when I raise the volume ... Do I need another Farad ...was thinking of getting a 2 Farad capacitor just in case ...or should I add a battery in my tuck ... I already have a Optima red battery under my hood ..... And should I upgrade to Big Three ..??

Im running a 4 gauge wire for the positive and ground .... RCA cable are underneath my console ...was a real pita to pass them trought ... Positive wire is underneath my floormat on the driver side ...( I pass it trought the hood release hole ...( do I have to say it was a pita ) ).

For my ground ... I did a hole underneath rear seats ...and bolt all ground wire rings in that hole.. I didnt removed the paint thought ... should I ??

sorry for my english

yes deff remove the paint that would be the first thing. And also you dont NEED a cap at all you dont need a 2 farad you dont even need that 1 farad for that matter. If it were me just ditch the cap and scrape your ground down to bare metal then give it a try.

your rca's need to be run away from your power cable. also a good set of rca's will help too.

sounds like a bad ground to me.

I sanded the $hit out of the place where I attached the ground to.

The big 3 will help out more with the dimming problem, and remove the paint for the ground because without a proper ground it wont complete the circuit properly.

I thought that a cap would protect my alternator somehow...

So I sanded down the paint underneath my back seats ...ground is bolted on pure metal..... Removed that 1 Farad cap ...

It didnt helped... I still can hear that big pop when I press/depress the rear windshield defrost...

Power cable and RCA's are routed separately...

Power is routed trought the hood release hole ...then underneath the mat on the driver side.... to the amp.. which is in the trunk...

RCA's are routed from AMP... to under the mat in the center...underneath the center console.... beside the shifter ...to the radio... sub-out rca's.

What else could it be ?

Do you have all the bass settings up?(on the deck and the amp) If not than check the crossover on the amp and make sure thats its on.

Crossover on the amp is set to LP... IIRC ...

I can even hear my engine in the subs ..when I rev I can hear the bass going up and down... and this is happening with SUB OFF on the radio ...so the radio has nothing to do .... but anyways... even if the SUB option on the radio is set to OFF.. the amp power light is on...So I tought maybe the remote wire has something to do...

Even if I bypass the remote ... from positive of the amp to remote of the amp ...I can still hear all those symptoms .. So ... radio is isolated ..remote wire is isolated ... Im gonna borrow a set of RCA's which my friend has ....his stereo doesnt pop... Will lets you know ...

P.S. By removing the 1 Farad cap ...the lights dim a lot less .. I was amazed ..what a BS those capacitor's....

Borrow an another amp from a friend if you can. Hook it up & see if it does the same thing. I had the same thing happen with my tweeter amp. I thought it HAD to be a bad ground. After going crazy over it, I accepted that the amp was junk & replaced it. All is good now.
