The 6 x 9 version of that are onsale at 2001 Audio Video (http://2001audiovideo.com/product_info.php?id=SPS69C3&clr=) for $169.99.

That seems a little steep for 6.5's. Is their something else about them that makes em worth more?

I was just looking at getting a set of rockford's to replace my rear speakers, but I already have alpine in the front, and thats an awesome price for those 6x9's. do you know if that is the price at any 2001audio/video?

I'm not 100% certain...If it's on their website, I'm sure it's for any of their retail outlets. They do have a clearence centre here in Scarborough...Kennedy Rd. between 401 and Ellesmere, where they may have em even cheaper.

Will 6x9's fit in the Cougar? I got JBL 6x8's and they were a tight squeeze.
