will the arm rest on a 99-00 console work on a 01-02 console? im getting the 01-02 console, i think it has a leather arm rest, my car has the cloth interior, so i'd like to swap them so everything is cloth.

I dont think it will work. They are shaped differently and the latch assembly is different. By the way what color is the leather on your 01/02 console? I have an 01/02 console, just not installed in my car and it has black cloth on it.

its black leather, or atleast the picture looks that way. i waiting on it to be shipped to me, we can trade if you want to. let me know if you want to do that.

ok, like mentioned itll be a few days cause im waiting on mine to be delivered. i may be wrong about the covering, i didnt ask, but the picture looks leather to me. ill get back to you as soon as i get it.

it does NOT fit.
I also have a 01/02 consol, and had a 99 armrest lying around... believe me, I wanted it to fit, and it does 'kinda' line up, but theres really no good way to mount it. (theres not enough space at the back - unless you fabricated a new bracket)

it is leather i pm'd the guy i bought it from to make sure. im still waiting on it to come in the mail. its only coming from kentucky to georgia so it shouldnt be much longer and ill get you pics as soon as it arrives.
