Ok, i have a p3at also known as the worlds smallest .380. I did a little work to it recently. Painted it with engine enamel, replaced the recoil springs etc. Well i just got back from the range. I sliced my finger open. I was being retarded and holding this tiny gun like a full sized one. The slide came back took a chunk out of my thumb and took it back into the gun with the underside of the slide. I must have snagged a vein because i was gushing blood so that it covered my gun, both hands, and some of the table my clips were laying on. You should have seen the face on the cashier when i payed after i shot:eek: . I'm retarded.

None at the moment. Its a Keltec P3at. I bought it for concealed carry. Its thiner than my cellphone and smaller lengthways than my wallet. 6 +1 shot. Semi auto, no safety, no slide catch for empty. Its stripped down.

Oh well, it will not be a problem soon, i'm selling it to a friend who has a concealed carry license. I bought the gun when i was going to get a license. But i have a problem giving people my fingerprints.....call me crazy.

No slide catch, it has a slide but after the last shot it doesn't stay open like 95% of full size semi autos, it holds 7 shots if you keep one in the chamber, which i never do.

I use the same gun as a backup to my 1911s. It sits nicely in my front pocket.
I can see how you got slashed by it if you were trying to two hand it...it's a one handed pistol for sure.
I don't know what your personal aversion is to giving your fingerprints is...but I had no problem with submitting them in order to be able to protect myself if the need. IMO it was a small price to pay for the peace of mind my CCW gives me.
That being said…I DON’T give my fingerprints anywhere else. One of the local banks wants a fingerprint if you try to cash a check without having an account there…I don’t bother. Kroger has a fingerprint reader for check cashing as well…I don’t use it either.

I think its like $250 with all the fees and paying for the class, down here in NC, Yeah i was trying to two hand it. I was trying to make it accurate. with a 1 1/2 inch barrel or whatever it is, its hard to get that thing to hit center. At least for me. I have a Huge aversion to giving my fingerprints. I am against alot of things like that, but i do like that you don't have to have a permit or do a background check here if you have a concealed carry license. I just cant bring myself to do it, maybe someday soon. We need to have another Gun Meet in NC, I took everybody that came to a meet to the shooting range one time and handed out assault rifles.

I can't wait to hit 21, i think im gonna get the hammerless S&W revolver... very nice for a pocket, jacket or for the ladies a purse. Super sweet gun and I get a helluva deal from S&W. If you're in or around Columbia I'm trying to set up a class for a concealed permit. I work with 2 guys that are/have been certified to teach it. Let me know if your interested I'm turning 21 at the end of november and will hopefully have the class set around then.
