Jason could probably hook you up.

What type of finish is on the wheels right now? Depending on the condition and finish I can do them at my shop...

I can't do chrome or previously powdercoated wheels. But paint isn't a problem for me to do in the garage.

Ya, I can't strip chrome without destroying the alum wheels (pitting them). I can, however, strip old powder using the media blasting system.

If its chrome yer done for, there is no way to remove it, as the chrome is a harder material than the alum that it covers. Anything that will take off the chrome will remove the underlying material faster. Sorry, but there's nothing you can really do...

If you can manage to get 100% of the chrome off by hand it might work, just depends if you can keep the rim from pitting up while you do it... It's a pain, and you will cut the crap outta yer hands, so wear some STRONG leather gloves, chrome will cut like a freakin knife...
