Hey, has anyone here done the HVAC led conversion successfully? i searched and either the threads are dead or they didnt do the HVAC.

<-- Newb. I just swapped some of my stock swiiches for monkeygrits blue switches. So i was trying to figure out how to do the hvac etc. Thanks... lets see how bad i mess it up lol

Be patient, go slow. Use the RC fuel/water mix very sparingly. If you take off too much green, you're done.

Make sure you use lots of very hot, soapy water when separating the face. Don't reach in between the plastic and face with a knife or anything or you'll scratch the backing off.

Let me know if you need any advice.

will, do, thanks, I'll probably order the leds off oznium tonight. Something to do while i sit around campus with nothing to do. 3mm led's right?

Yes, 3mm 5000 MCD leds with 470 ohm resistors. I use only 3 leds/resistors, as you can see in my photos.

Bass Im gonna look for those extra LEDs If I can find em Ill send em to ya....Im glad to be back to green...thanx 4 switching.....

Wade: can you use nail polish remover instead of rc fuel? or too strong?
