Me, Mark, and Chris & Mary went down to the Rockbridge car show on Saturday. Had a fine time, and got to see a bunch of SUPER-BAD cars. Here's my pics:

There are a couple more in my gallery, too. I know Chris and Mark took some shots as well. Hopefully they will post 'em up!

Thank you Andy, Chris, and Mary for making the drive down to Rockbridge. I don't think there were quite as many cars as last year, but we bumped up from one to three Cougars  and I think the quality was definitely better this year too, good competition, and a lot of schweet cars -- Like the CobraJet powered Model A, and the cammed 454 Stingray
I've got a slew of pics, at least one of every car there. There were 52 cars registered. No pics from the road -- Mark + camera + driving ==
I'll need to resize them, and I'll post some up. Tomorrow! :)

Mary is Chris' girlfriend; she's been to more meets than some of our members!
I love my green Roush. It got a bigass trophy yesterday too!

Ha ha. Awesome pics Andy. I only took a few with the camera phone, like said, I dropped my digi cam into a fire. It's still repairable believe it or not.
Awesome show. Thanks again for inviting us out Mark. Mary and I had an good time. A LOT of gorgeous cars, I was trying to talk the 64 1/2 all original mustang guy (Neil) to trade me... no go.
Congrats again Andy and Mark. I'm glad the hard work payed off, it was obvious how much time and money was spent into the cars.

WOW- 4MPG on 100 octane, I bet that hurts. The model A is awesome, but it needs a bigger engine and some foose wheels?
All the cougars were looking nice too. Wish my cougar wasn't so hideous right I would have joined ya.
EDIT: Nevermind, just looked up the cobra jet engine in the model A. That will do fine.

LOL that CobraJet was really shoe-horned in there; the headers were pretty much hitting the frame rails. But I bet the thing will haul...

Where (other than an airport) can you even get 100 octane?

When I was in high school, I worked at a gas station out in the sticks that sold CAM2 Race fuel; I think it was like 105 Octane...
Yeah, I wouldn't know where to look for that stuff around here.

There's a select amount of gas stations around Columbus that sell it, namely a few I know of are Sunoco. You wanna complain about 3 dollars a gallon, you'll have a heart attack at the price of race gas.
