I know that the 3.0 Tb and the svt are pretty much the same (exempt price) What is needed to swap a 3.0 tb in.
Also is the 3.0 UIM swap in also. Does it bolt right up or do you need something, also the same question towards SHO stuff.

no SHO stuff will work and the later model 3L UIM will work, the aluminum one from pre '99. but the plastic one on later models will not work becaus eit's oval port and you have split port heads.

To use a 3.0 throttle body, you have to grind off the extra, unnecessary spring attachment on the linkage (it gets in the way if you leave it), and you must use the SVT throttle bracket (unless you modify the stock one and skip your cruise control). Otherwise, the same rules apply as using the SVT throttle body, regarding the cable compatibility and all.

B3NN3TT,
Can you show me what linkage to grind off? I can get you a pic of my 3L Tarus throttle body if you don't have a pic and you can just circle the part that needs grinded off. Thanks man.

Sure;
basically, on the big black plastic linkage where the throttle cable attaches, there is an extra little metal "arm" that sticks out there, with a hole in it where a spring attaches on the 3.0. It serves no purpose on the 2.5, so you just cut it off.
If you want to post a pic, I'll photoshop it to show what I mean.
