Here it is, folks- Once in a long while, you'll see one. This is NOT the popular Trubendz Borla system. This is a TRUE Borla system, manufactured and shipped from Borla themselves.

I bought this in the summer of 1999... Carried the 1,000,000 mile warranty, and it still holds to this day!

Borla part number 14821, the stainless polished rolled "phantom tip". True old-timers will recognize these tips as the "revised" phantom tips- That's because both of the tip sections were replaced by Borla due to faulty welds in the hangars. Borla customer service took care of me, they'll take care of you should anything (unlikely) happen to this system.

Includes all clamping hardware as well as rubber hangers to mount the rear tips (this system does NOT use factory hangers).

Sound is UNMATCHED to this day. Almost inperceptable at idle & cruising. Only sounds off when you want it to!

My turbo has no hope of ever using this system again. I've moved on to a 3" system, so you'd better jump on this since one's come along.

$770 new... (http://www.speedyperformanceparts.com/borla_me_cougar_exhaust-system_z.html)

$425.00 OBO. $50 LESS than a new SS Borla Trubendz!

Buyer to pay actual shipping costs by his/her choice of methods.

Removal of stock exhaust and Installation of Duals is easy to do?
Do you have any soundclips?
Pretty strong interest.. Whats shipping go for on something like this?

Yes, a novice can do it. Requires you to jack the car up from the rear, put it on jackstands (for safety). Two bolts at the rear of the catalytic converter section, and the 4 hangers of the stock system. Whole thing comes out, this goes in using the same hangers, and the frame for the tail pipe sections.

I apologize, but I do not have sound clips. This system has not been on a car in years. Been keeping it for sentimental reasons until I realized that with my turbo, there's no going back!

I would disassemble it for shipping and pack it in a few boxes. PM me with your zip and I will try to get a number for you.

sound clips are just a recording of how the exhaust sounds on a running car. its not something you need.
