Well most responces are stupid too. especially one given by idiots on here that are mad at a question some1 asked. Excuse them for not being as guru as most people claim to be on this forum. NOT every1 knows as much as the other. Some are newbs. Me I don't never really messed with anything other than Rotary Motors.I love working on them, messing with them, taking them apart,putting them back together. I don't know everything about them, But I sure do know a whole lot about them. Im pretty new to messing with Pistons. Especially this cougar that I own. I have been learning a great deal messing around with it, and searching on this forum. If you dont like the stupid question don't answer it with a stupid answer. makes no sense. for you to lower yourself to a stupidity level now does it ????


And to answer the other dudes questions about the RWD cougars. I didn't mean a lot as in 234234234 RWD cougars. I';ve atleast seen Maybe 8 that I have found online doing searching. Two of them were white, One was yellow, One was yellow and purple, Thats all I can remember. Also I believe a few video links were on TR/TF (Keyword: a few) Not sure if it is still on TR/TF Or I might of saw those videos on neco. I don~t remember. I´ll try searching tonight see if I can find them.

edit: You said you know of three. well thats more than one now is there?? And when I said so many i didn~t mean tons of them. I ment more of around 8. and if I can~t find them oh well. I don~t have to prove to you that they exsist. you yourself said three already exsist.

Hint #1: 3.0 Performance. Not 3.8, Not 5.0, Not 5.8
Hint #2: If you search and dont find it....such as an awd or rwd conversion....chances are it isn't here for a reason. Those kind of things require Extensive custom mods that if you have to ask how to do...you cant do. So....there it is. My 2 hints on how to make it here. Have a nice stay.

Well I respect your responce. Nothing wrong with what your saying. Just as you said, those king of things require extensive custom mods and I know they are expensive. Would be nice if some1 was able to do those conversions. Now on that the 3.0 is the biggest size to fit. It would be nice to fit the 3.8 in there. Now a few months back, maybe even before Jan. Prob around november of last year. I think there was a thread started that some1 on here put a 4.0+ motor from a explorer or something in there cougar. So that was another reason I was asking about the 3.8l too, besides the fact that the 3.0 could fix, I thought maybe the 3.8 could fit as well. It didn't look that much of a difference to me, But I only glanced when I was at the Junkyard. Not sure if the 4.0l+ motor was a rumor that some1 put in there car, but would be nice to fix a 3.8l

you made it seem as if you saw vids of street cars, when you probably were speaking of drag cars.

No one put a 4.0L in their cougar. Someone screwed up an ad or something. Read the thread about it.

You do realise that the 3.8 has less HP then the Duratec?

I didn't relize it had less HP, But I heard the 3.8 had more stuff to find on modifying the motor, rebuilding it with better pistons etc.. etc... Can get better heads for them etc... etc... Plus I heard it will produce more with either a super charger/turbo charger kit on them. thats another reason I was considering going that route, but as you guys said the 3.8 cant fit so Have to scratch that one off the list. Can any1 confirm this about the power it can produce after its been modded vs the 3.0l

P.S oh did any1 relize that at the Auto parts stores if you want a part for your car they have two options the Cougar, and the Cougar S. I thought the Cougar S was never produced. Sometimes they try to find things under my car and they can't find it, but if they go under Cougar S they find it. Thats strange.
