Spookie: Don't forget that using the 3L UIM requires rerouting the vacuum lines, fabricating a TB bracket, fabricating a return line (if return-style), and possibly relocating the battery. It might not be worth it for some people who want an engine that is stock on the outside. They can just buy the Nautilus LIM to transition between the ports and they're done.
Vacuum lines are a piece of cake, TB bracket for a competent person is not difficult and neither is the EGR tube. There is no need for a modded rail.

It's his choice what he wants to do but you can't justify spending quite a bit of money for absoulutely nothing. If he wants to do that and is happy with it, so be it. I'll point out the other side for consideration regardless...

On the SVT cam 'test', what makes one think that the results will favor the 2.5L UIM??

Personally I think it will show the SVT UIM in the same or worse light than the 3L cam dyno runs.

It flows less air, and doesn't have hardly any plenum volume compared to a 3L intake. Combine that with the engine demanding even more air with SVT cams & I'd bet the SVT intake will fall further behind.

Re: Few questions "intakes"/ "pistons"

I know the 3L will perform better.

I just wanna see the svt cams used with max-hone intake against the 3L uim.

Random info to just dabble about in my head.

I want to see the ST220 against an 04-05 3L intake. I'm guessing the ST220 has a little more volume. I know the runners tapper down their entire length, where as the 3L has straight runners. Hopefully those 2 things &a hotter cam will let it pull ahead some.
