Well, besides the fact that you would have to change your screen name, 99 % of all upgrades you make on your 2.5 can be bolted right onto the 3.0 for even better gains. It's a no-brainer.

pick up the SVT stuff as you find it for cheap and save about 2500 for the build on your 3L while you are collecting your parts.
