Re: SVT LITE Upgrade For Dummies

Just to clarify, do you need to buy quantity 2 of the LIM and UIM gaskets? Or do they come as a 2 pack?

Uh, not quite correct, at least not according to Bill J. when I ordered gaskets a few weeks ago. I don't know about LIM gaskets, but the UIM gaskets are sold singly, I.E. if you buy one of the part number on the TeamFordParts site, you'll get one gasket, not two. Though Ford packs two UIM gaskets in a single plastic parts bag, they are separate items.

I ordered two (2) of the above listed UIM gasket part numbers, thinking I would get two sets (four gaskets) because I am going to do a UIM swap / rebuild on both the Coug and the 'Tour, but only got two gaskets, enough for one UIM. Bill J. said that's how Ford packages / sells them.

Re: SVT LITE Upgrade For Dummies

so one part number = 1 gasket?

just buy the whole LIM + UIM gasket kit at napa for 30$ and be done with it

Hah, yeah. How'd you say it in so few words?

The kit from NAPA would be less expensive.

Re: SVT LITE Upgrade For Dummies

Well if you want Ford gaskets Linkman is right. The part number is for ONE gasket even though they are bagged in twos.

Just line it up with your intake and trim it if it's too big.
