    i also got a pic of the painted covers...( i hate seing the covers unpainted, its like drivin around with a kit primerd up!!!!)

    o yeah the install was a snap. But I only have about 49k and the valves are DIRTY!! you should probably clean em around every 20k, i got some nice smooth acceleration and loud nice tone.

    Is that the color changing painted one that was on E-bay? I f so u got a good deal on it....My 99 Svt UIM is in my basment quietly waiting unitll summer so my car can be removed from the yard.....stupid weather

    Yes it is the one from ebay... the paint really has to be seen in person as it is NICE! Green from the front and purple from the sides.

    And that's why I Love Alabama... I didnt even need a jacket and i did it in my driveway!!!!!

    Did you paint the covers yourself? If so, what did you use to paint them? I have a black car also, and was thinking of useing the Duplicolor trim accessory paint. I bought the primer, Universal black paint, and clearcoat, but I'm not sure it will match 100%(plus it's too cold outside to paint. lol).

    Wait are you talking about installing an SVT engine or just the UIM?

    If just the UIM how the hell did you see your valves in your heads
    by taking the UIM off?
