Not wanting to cut your car since its so new is understandable. However, you dont have much of an option, I dont consider the Weapon R products an option really. Both the CC CAI and GMK CAI require cutting as well. If anything in the hot months I would just put the stock air box back in with a K&N drop in. You honestly wont lose that much HP in the hot months, however in winter months your short ram will be fine.

ya could do that slap the airbox back in when the hotter months come along.. I know some of the guys are gettin the c.c . c a i and gettin em in there without having to move the battery wich was another headache for me if i were to get one. not sure im in a debate right now. If say a c.c cai extension will work imaculate i guess i would consider cutting. Im a machinist so i can fab stuff up aswell.
    cheers!

I highly reccommend ordering from CustomCougars. There have been many shipping issues in the past few months. I would order a GMK CAI, but the group buy didnt go so well with shipping. However, check in the For Sale Section and you can more than likely find someone selling theirs.

Avoid the Weapon*R "Cold Air Box" at all costs. It's a cheap piece of tin/aluminum you screw together that has a gaping hole in the bottom (which lets all the heat off the tranny and exhaust manifolds suck up into the "box") with a lid that pretends to seal off your short RAM from engine heat.

A 4 year old with tin snips and some aluminum sheets could make one in 15 minutes.

GMK cold air intake or switch back to stock intake system when it is hot outside
I kissed a boy and I liked it.

Thats outstanding . I wish I knew about this site before I shelled out the money for that damned kit

EDIT: But yeah, dont bother with that thing. Its a pain to install, doesnt work as advertised (it improves air temp slightly), and you can no longer see the filter which can lead to far more severe problems, especially if that wonderful foam starts falling apart and getting sucked into your engine.
