SVT Upgrades- By request - Page 5

ok I want to do the SVT uim and tb upgrade for my 2000 atx cougar. I was just wondering how hard this is, and also what else will I need besides the tb and the uim. I was also wondering if I will need a lim also, and if not does it help to get one anyways?

if your car is a 2000 you already have the svt spec lim so you dont need it

My Cougar is from 2000 and I think that have return fuel system. ¿Is it possible?

I order to my local Ford dealer in Spain a ST200 Throtle cable and bracket. Is it the same that the SVT?

They said me this part numbers:
cable w/o traction control : 98BB-9C799-CA
cable w traction control : 93BB-9C799-MF
Bracket : F7NV-9677-AC

This part numbers work with SVT UIM? Can someone help me?

I searched all those part numbers u listed and NONE came up....

F7RZ-9E926-AA SVT Throttle Body

F8RZ-9677-AA SVT TB Bracket

XS8Z-9A758-CA SVT Throttle Cable

F5DZ-9E936-AE SVT TB Gasket

Those are the ones you want.

The problem is that my local dealer can´t search it for p/n, they need the "Finis" number. When he select a part then the p/n apear, but they can´t introduce the p/n directly

Is it possible for you to order your parts online instead of going to a dealer? If u can, go to: www.fordpartsonline.com You should see a place where u can enter part numbers. If i can, i will place some pictures of the SVT throttle bracket and cables. I have all the parts i belive and i am ready to install my SVT UIM, but i am currently getting my UIM chromed right now, so i can't install it yet. If u need to me to send u a picture of the cable and bracket, just PM me.

One question more... Can I remove the cover valve hoses and put a "mini filters" (moto filter) on it, for eliminate it from the intake? I think that the UIM and LIM can be clean more time if the recicled gases don´t come into it.

That violates emissions in the US (for those regions that have emissions requirements). Don't know about your location...
