Y-pipes interchangeable

Are the 2.5L 3 flange Y-pipe/flex and cat interchangeable with the 2 flange on an MTX?

While doing a ATX/MTX swap, someone liberated me of the 2 flange set up. The MTX donor had a two flange set up. My ATX has a three flange system.

Re: Y-pipes interchangeable

Yes you can swap a 3 bolt Y-pipe onto a MTX. I've done it before.

On the 2 bolt set up you use the donut. But if you are using your stock 3 Bolt Y-pipe and 3 bolt Exhaust system you just use a gasket.
