Re: What else do I need for my SVT UIM ???
did you try disconnecting the battery for 15mins to reset the ECU. It will let the car relearn all the settings again...sometimes after altering the setup, the car will take awhile to settle in to its new config...I've got an SVT intake stretched over a 65mm TB..after awhile the heat lets the rubber stretch...it comes off and goes back on quite easily now ..G.

Re: What else do I need for my SVT UIM ???
Gorman you were right it has taken about 3 days to settle down and is now giving me good fuel consumption gains. On the freeway this morning it was down to 6.5L/100km which it has NEVER done before.
I guess also when I had the install done I had new plugs & leads and had the injectors done so all that would have helped as well. I have a lot more GRUNT now as well and it doesn't get bogged down off the line like it used to. Thnaks to everyone who gave me good advice. |
