No, it's a jag s-type, and bit closer to home a Lincoln ls (both 3.0l).
As far as I know it is the only one who connects to the engine without a adaptorplate.

For the rear dif I use a 3.11 or a 3.38 of a european ford sierra.
I estimate approx 600kg in total (ex myself) and a 2.5 cougar svt /
megasquirt.

marc, looks like a really cool project. I know I speak for alot of people when I say MOAR INFO!!! So have you done any research in using megasquirt on the duratec engine yet? While I havent gone out of my way looking, I havent seen anyone try it yet [although it can].

Yes,

There are several 2.5l or 3.0l running on Ms at the moment I know of.
No issues on them.
Edis 6 / wasted spark is the common option.
I use MS2, V3.0 main-board, 19lb injectors, svt LIM, ST200 UIM, svt tb and stock 36-1 trigger wheel.
Custom loom.
Because it is a very basic project / car, all other electric (airco, windows ect.) are not an issue. I will use 2 custom sidepipes with minimum bend.
When I am done testing, I will post the MS map's.

so what kind of project car is this, pardon my ignorance but what chassy is that [if its a 7, then very cool, was always curious if you could jam the v6 instead of the i4 in there].

Well,

It's a seven (mk), and yes you can put a v6 in it. It actualy a nice and comfy fit!
