Re: Relocate oil filter.
No, it's a jag s-type, and bit closer to home a Lincoln ls (both 3.0l).
As far as I know it is the only one who connects to the engine without a adaptorplate. For the rear dif I use a 3.11 or a 3.38 of a european ford sierra. I estimate approx 600kg in total (ex myself) and a 2.5 cougar svt / megasquirt. ![]() |

Re: Relocate oil filter.
marc, looks like a really cool project. I know I speak for alot of people when I say MOAR INFO!!! So have you done any research in using megasquirt on the duratec engine yet? While I havent gone out of my way looking, I havent seen anyone try it yet [although it can].

There are several 2.5l or 3.0l running on Ms at the moment I know of. No issues on them. Edis 6 / wasted spark is the common option. I use MS2, V3.0 main-board, 19lb injectors, svt LIM, ST200 UIM, svt tb and stock 36-1 trigger wheel. Custom loom. Because it is a very basic project / car, all other electric (airco, windows ect.) are not an issue. I will use 2 custom sidepipes with minimum bend. When I am done testing, I will post the MS map's. reg, marcel. |

so what kind of project car is this, pardon my ignorance but what chassy is that [if its a 7, then very cool, was always curious if you could jam the v6 instead of the i4 in there].
