where is the best place to move it too???

no where really, there isnt really room. search "massive zena alternator" it didnt go well. i guess if you were really creative and didnt want AC you could put it there, but thats not much better than where it is now.
you are better off trying to make a better splash shield to keep it dry

I had 3 alternator failures, all within a 18-month period. But my last replacement was probably 4 years ago - and it has been perfectly fine ever since. If it was just location, that one would have failed too, since my driving habits and climate have not changed.
There are plenty of people here who have had ZERO alternator problems. I don't think it's location as much as QUALITY of REPLACEMENT PARTS. I finally got a good one, so my problem is solved. LIFETIME WARRANTY is the key.

Agreed spend the extra 20 and get the lifetime model. If anything goes wrong i get a new one, it also coming with a year free install warranty.

well its a irragi so his quaility is good, but i did get the lifetime warranty hehe =] but i wish it was only 20 mine was 100 but worth every penny because its also a lifetime exchange program where if i change vehicles i send the alt in and he sends me a brand new on of the same amps for the new vehcile
