headers quesiton

i am thinkin bout gettin the msds headers. how hard are they to instal by yourself withought pullin the motor? it looks difficult, but maby i'm rong.

It's not that bad if you have some socket extensions, PB Blaster and patience.

You should really search around before you ask a quesion like this because it's been covered many times.

I'd say if you've never done it before, or even if you have on other cars the cougar can be a PITA.... at least it was for me... Search & you'll finde lots of opinions, guides, and advice on the topic.

It is difficult for someone who doesn't have a decent set of tools at their disposal, along with a decent amount of experience that tells them how to attack a problem.

Hint: Don't use PB Blaster. Hope (and it's really only that) the studs and nuts come out of the head as a single piece, rather than the nut coming off the stud- Otherwise, you'll need to drop the alternator to get the B1 manifold off / header on. Sux.
